+ 3 - 5 | § Abusive Victims
   --

I feel terrible every time I think about the families of those who died on the September 11th attacks.  A loss like that has a lifetime impact on their lives -- on everyone's lives, but primarily on the victim's families.  I always wished that in some way the people responsible for the attacks -- terrorists and the organizations and countries supporting them -- paid in some way for what they did.

But for the 150 victims families that have decided to sue the Airlines and the Port Authority I feel no pain.

+ 2 - 5 | § Hotel Amenities Connoisseur(1)
   --

Yes, I accept it!  I love collecting hotel amenities: scented soap, little flasks of goo (e.g. shampoo), and small packets with miscellaneous content of sometimes-questionable usefulness.  It pays homage to the "single serving life"(2) a business traveler has. Read More

+ 5 - 1 | § Felony Vote
   --

+ 2 - 7 | § Less Room Throught Coach
   --

During the recent airline crisis, American has been adding those seats back.  And if I had to guess, I would say they have been adding even more rows of seats than they had before the .com era.

+ 3 - 5 | § The Day After Thanksgiving
   --

After I go through all my favorite shops during the early morning hours of the Friday after Thanksgiving, I sit down and remind myself of one important thing:  There is about a month left for this year (for this TAX YEAR).

As much as I love Uncle Sam, and Taxachusetts, I prefer to let them have their fair share, and not a single cent more!

+ 3 - 5 | § Window or Aisle
   --

This is the never ending debate, what is the better choice for airplane seats:  window or aisle?  Counter Check-In Agent: please, if you ask the question and I answer Window, DON'T give me Seat 31A (or F) on a Boeing 717 from AirTran. Read More
